After the success of Dhuruvangal Padhinaru, young director Karthick Naren is currently working on his next project, Naragasooran. Produced by Gautham Vasudev Menon, the film stars Arvind Swami, Shreya and Indrajith in pivotal roles. Arvind Swami joined the sets when the final schedule of the film began on October 26. He plays the role of Dhruv, probably a painter from the looks of it.

Karthick took to Twitter to post a glimpse of Arvind Swami on the sets and we see the actor is standing in a studio of sorts. Behind him is a canvas on which there is a painting.

He announced that this film will be the second installment of a thriller trilogy, which is part of the same world as Dhuruvangal Padhinaru. The team began production in September and it is speculated that they are looking for a February release.

Speaking about his experience, Arvind Swami tweeted, “Just finished my first shot for #Naragasooran. Excited to work with such a young and unique talent @karthicknaren_M . Watch out for him ppl (sic).”

The ‘emotionally intense suspense drama’ also stars Aathmika, who debuted with Meesaya Murukku and Sundeep Kishan. The film, just like Dhuruvangal Pathinaru, will not have any songs and background score is being composed by Ron Ethan Yohan.
