Asin might have worked in several remakes of south films in Bollywood, but recently, she had to turn down the offer to be part of the regional versions of Kangana Ranaut’s hit film, Queen.

A source says, “Asin was approached for the remake of the film in four south Indian languages. Of course, Asin is also fluent in all of these languages. But although she was interested in the films, she had to decline the offer because she is currently focusing on her Hindi films.”

Asin is shooting her next with Abhishek Bachchan, which is directed by Umesh Shukla.

Since Asin turned down the offer, there has been speculation about who will play the role of Kangana in the south versions.

We tried contacting Asin, but she remained unavailable for comment.
