Actor Bhavana, known for her award-winning performance in Malayalam film Nammal, has reportedly got engaged to Kannada producer Naveen at a private ceremony on Thursday.

Manorama Online reports that the affair was attended by close friends and family, and comes as a surprise to her fans. The couple had earlier planned on getting married in 2014, but the actor’s work commitments forced them to postpone plans.

Bhavana is currently shooting for Prithviraj starrer Adam and is awaiting the release of Honey Bee 2 and Adventures of Omanakuttan. She made her debut in 2002 in the film Nammal.
