Ditching his bearded look which has become more of a norm of the 37-year old actor, the poster shows a clean-shaven Vijay Sethupathi. The actor sports a rather intense and angry look and has the demeanour of a leader.

He is often regarded as one of the best actors to have emerged from Tamil cinema. Vijay Sethupathi’s name is often taken in the same breath as Vijay Ilayathalapathy, Dhanush, Suriya and Vikram. Naturally, any film he does, the buzz is quite high. The first poster of Tamil film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan (I’m also a rowdy) is out and it is already a hit.

Ditching his bearded look which has become more of a norm of the 37-year old actor, the poster shows a clean-shaven Vijay. The actor sports a rather intense and angry look and has the demeanour of a leader, possibly of a local area as is evident from his ordinary get-up and the general ambience in the picture. He also has a group of people backing him up. After seeing Vijay plays a 65-year old man in Orange Mittai, seeing Vijay in a young avatar is a welcome change.

Naanum Rowdy Dhaan is a Dhunush production and stars Nayantara as the female lead. Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films have been producing quality films, the most recent being Kaaka Muttai which won National Award too.
