Nandamuri Harikrishna death: Nagarjuna, Ram Charan shocked at his sudden demise, pay tributes
Leading personalities from the Telugu film industry including Nagarjuna Akkineni and Ram Charan took to social media to express their grief and disbelief at the sudden passing away of veteran actor-politician Nandamuri Harikrishna. The late politician died in a road mishap near Nalgonda in Telangana.
Expressing his sadness, Nagarjuna Akkineni wrote in part Telugu, part English on Twitter that he would miss his ‘anna’. He wrote, “It has been too long, we should meet soon younger brother..that’s what he said a few weeks ago and now he is gone.all I feel is a void,I will miss you Anna!!!”
Ram Charan was deeply shocked at Nandamuri Harikrishna’s death. He wrote: “Deeply shocked and saddened to hear about the sudden demise of Shri. Harikrishna garu in a tragic accident. My thoughts go out to the family in this time of grief. May his soul rest in peace.”

According to Nalgonda police, 61-year-old Harikrishna, who was driving at a very high speed, lost control over the vehicle which rammed the road divider at Anaparthi village and hit another vehicle on the other side of the highway before overturning. The TDP leader suffered severe head injuries and was immediately shifted to Kamineni super speciality hospital at Narketpalli, a few kilometres away. He breathed his last at around 7.45 am.
Harikrishna belongs to the first family of former Andhra Pradesh state (now Andhra and Telangana). He is the son of late NT Rama Rao, brother of popular Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna and is the father of another popular actor, Jr NTR. Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandra Babu Naidu is his brother-in-law.
