Telugu hit Soggade Chinni Nayana is set for a Kannada remake

Nagarjuna’s new flick Soggade Chinni Nayana is one of the biggest Telugu blockbusters of this year so far. Nagarjuna appears in a dual role in the film.

Telugu blockbuster Soggade Chinni Nayana is going in for Kannada remake and starring in it will be superstar Upendra. “The remake rights have been acquired and Upendra also plans to direct it, besides playing the lead. The project is expected to go on the floors in a couple of months,” said a source close to the Kannada superstar.

Having raked in over Rs 75 crore at the ticket window, Nagarjuna and director Krishna have already announced a sequel. In the film, Nagarjuna played a ghost and horror angle worked quite well in the film’s favour. Nagarjuna, meanwhile, has started prepping for his upcoming Telugu film, Baba Hathiram.
