"Sukanya plays an important character. She will be seen as one of the family members of Mahesh Babu in the movie," said a source from the film's unit.

Directed by Koratala Siva, the film features Shruti Haasan as the female lead.

Popular actors such as Jagapathi Babu, Brahmanadam, Rajendra Prasad, Sampath Raj, Angana Roy, Shanoor Sana and Rahul Ravindran are part of the ensemble cast as well.

Sukanya was last seen in last year's Tamil sleeper hit Ennamo Nadakkudhu. In Telugu, her last film was Nandamuri Balakrishna-starrer Adhinayakudu.
