George Clooney too selfish to have kids!

The Hollywood actor says gets nervous around kids and is hence not ready for fatherhood.

Don’t expect to see Hollywood’s sexiest man George Clooney on diaper duty anytime soon, for the actor insists he’s just too ‘selfish’ to have kids.

Clooney, who has dated a number of the world’s most beautiful women, has been married only once to actress Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993 but the couple didn’t have any kids. Now that he’s nearing the 50-year mark, Clooney still isn’t ready to follow in the footsteps of pals Brad Pitt and Matt Damon.

"I don't know why everyone wants me to become a father - I'm so selfish and I get nervous around kids and I know I'm not ready for that kind of life," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.

And though Clooney’s insistence may seem like a joke to some, Michelle Pfeiffer and Nicole Kidman both know that the actor might never know the joys of fatherhood.

The actresses bet $10,000 each some time back that that Clooney would be a father before he turned 40. They were both wrong, and each sent him a check. He returned the money, betting double or nothing that he won't have kids by age 50.
