Researchers have claimed that administering the hormone oxytocin, which facilitates attachment and bonding, to couples may improve their marital life.

Researchers have claimed that administering the hormone oxytocin, which facilitates attachment and bonding, to couples may improve their marital life.
The University of Oxford researchers that an intranasal dose of the oxytocin along with marriage counselling could help married partners get closer, the Huffington Post reported.
A previous mention of the love drug was in a 2008 study by the University of Zurich that found that couples receiving a dose of oxytocin in the form of a nasal
spray had lower levels of stress hormones and showed positive behaviour during fights.
The paper is set to be published in an upcoming issue of the journal Current Opinion in Psychology.
