Now, a dating site for book lovers

Tired of meeting girls from dating sites only to discover — horrors? She’s into Nicholas Sparks? Do not fret. Alikewise, a dating site matches you based on your taste in literature.

It’s the latest in a string of niche dating sites like Cupidtino for Mac lovers, and was started by two friends—one of whom wanted to meet someone who’d read The Black Swan, Mashable reports.

You can search for other users by typing in authors or book titles — and so far, it’s free. But it’s not all based on love of reading: You can enter in information about your appearance, too, “because,” says Lauren Indvik, who writes for Mashable, “a common love of Shakespearean sonnets doesn’t ensure physical attraction.”

Upon signup, users can fill out four categories of information, plus add a photo and tagline:

Basics: Your age, location and what you’re looking for (sex and age).
Attributes: Details about your appearance.
Books: Add your favorite books to your bookshelf with a note. Other users can comment on your selections.
My Story: An opportunity to talk about your other passions and interests.

Although there’s room for other information, the emphasis is entirely on books.
