I’ve always been fascinated by the way our minds function. At times, I’m faced with many questions — what are the beliefs, desires and priorities which motivate us? Which of them should we listen to? What happens when there’s a mental conflict?

For instance, I’ve always wanted to know what’s the trade-off between health and money. Obviously, health is precious but one cannot undermine the importance of health. How much can we lose to create mere wealth? What drives us to insane heights in a bid to make money?

Is there something like ‘good and bad decisions’? If we take well-thought-out decisions, but if they turn out to be the wrong ones, will they become bad decisions? Or would it be plain bad luck.

The question that’s uppermost on my mind is — should we let children grow up without fears? Or should we caution them against crimes against children, especially with child rapists making headlines?

We cannot ignore the fact that children are becoming increasingly independent. If they don’t get the right influences, there’s a possibility that they could fall into wrong company.
