Pornhub turns 10, celebrates anniversary by revealing secret habits of users
The most popular porn site on the internet celebrates its 10th anniversary by releasing user data that traces the history of global porn viewership.
Surely we’ve all heard of Pornhub, the most visited adult website on the planet, with over 75 million users a day from all over the world.

The famous porn purveyor turned 10 years old on May 25. To celebrate its decade of popularity, it published a detailed report on the secretive habits of its visitors.
The data is based entirely on the activity of the site’s pages. (Your web browser’s incognito window may not be as fully invisible as you think.)
From the number of registered viewers and videos uploaded every day to the trending categories and average time spent per user, the report provides an incredible insight into how current affairs and pop culture influences sexual fantasies.
As such, the report traces how the consumption of porn has changed over the years. Some of its more profound findings concern the types of devices people use to access porn. In 2008, only 1% of Pornhub’s traffic came from mobile devices; today, over 75% of visitors to the site use a smartphone or tablet.
Here are some other findings from the report.
