Digne transfers to Barcelona
PARIS: France international defender Lucas Digne has joined Barcelona on a five-year deal from Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain, the Catalan club said on Wednesday.

PARIS: France international defender Lucas Digne has joined Barcelona on a five-year deal from Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain, the Catalan club said on Wednesday. The left back spent last season on a successful loan deal at Serie A’s Roma and had been expected to move there permanently. But Barcelona have sealed the stylish Lille-trained player’s services in a deal worth €16.5 million with a potential four million add on. “His pace on the left makes him a threat going forward as does his excellent technical quality on the ball,” Barca said in a press release.
