MUMBAI: Left-arm spinner Iqbal Abdulla has decided to end his nearly a decade old stint with the Mumbai Ranji Trophy team. The Azamgarh-born Abdulla has applied for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) with the Mumbai Cricket Association. Abdulla is set to play for Kerala in the upcoming Ranji Trophy season. Abdulla, who was a part of Mumbai’s 41st Ranji Trophy winning team, claimed 14 wickets in eight innings in the last Ranji season. Mumbai opener Bhavin Thakkar too has applied for an NOC with the MCA.
