All of them came under Karim Bencherifa but new coach Biswajit Bhattacharya said the past inspires confidence. Mohun Bagan seem keen on living up to the tag of “nemesis” bestowed by Mahindra United coach David Booth.

On 37 points, Mahindra United are four points adrift of leaders Dempo and, Booth said, anything barring a loss will keep alive hopes of catching up.

Mohun Bagan will miss Rakesh Masih who has fever. Edeh Chidi is battling a stomach bug. “We will decide on him tomorrow,” said Bhattacharya.

Mumbai FC held

Agencies add from Shillong: An 80th minute goal by skipper Aibor Khonjee helped Shillong Lajong FC hold Mumbai FC on Tuesday. Mumbai FC had earlier scored through Pradeep Mohanraj in the 16th minute. Lajong are now placed ninth with 25 points.
