‘Federer and my SW19 record safe’

According to stuff.co.nz, the former player spoke during a conference leading to next month’s induction into the Rogers Cup Hall of Fame in Toronto and the seven-time Wimbledon champion hailed Andy Murray’s victory, adding that he was definitely the man to beat at the US Open.
The report said that Sampras could not see anyone being able to conquer Wimbledon’s grass courts the way he and Federer did, adding that his and Roger’s game on grass was very dominant.
Sampras also pointed out that there was the possibility of Federer winning another Wimbledon, the report added.
Tomic’s father moved to tears in court
Sydney: Bernard Tomic’s father, who is a coach, burst into tears as he was questioned in court about an assault on Frenchman Thomas Drouet, which left him with a broken nose and injured vertebrae.
The court heard on May 4 that Drouet was found unconscious about 3:30 pm outside a hotel in Madrid after an altercation with Tomic’s father but the Judge Jacobo Vigil Levi heard two very different versions as to who hit who and the case was adjourned with Levi reserving his decision for another day.
