Pal moved from Pune FC to United SC here on a megabuck deal said to be in excess of Rs. 1 crore this season. United SC director Siddhartha Bhattacharya said Pal would attend the first day's training here on Friday before leaving. It is possible Pal would seek a special permission from the All India Football Federation to join preparations for the Nehru Cup late.

When Pal is in Leipzig, India U-22 goalie Gurpreet Singh Sandhu would be in Wigan, England, for a short training stint. Three players from Lajong FC would be training in Denmark with first division club FCV Vikings.
