Asian Games 2026 Day 11 Highlights: Day 11 of the Asian Games 2026 has been a strong one for India, with the contingent claiming two gold medals in aday., Neeru Dhandha won the gold in the women’s trap event to end the country’s wait for an individual gold at the Games. The day ended with the first athletics gold of the event, with the women's 4x400m relay team earning the top prize. The women's trap team won a silver medal. On the other hand, Gulveer Singh completed a hat-trick of medals with a bronze in the men's 5000m. Pooja won bronze in the women's high jump, while India also clinched two more bronze medals in the mixed 4x100m relay and the men's 4x400m relay. They thus won a total of 6 medals in the day.

Celestina, Sarita Kumari and Keerthi Rangaswamy Chikka clocked 50.414 seconds to finish sixth in the women’s team sprint qualifying, 3.742 seconds behind leaders China. The qualifying round only decides the seeding, with India set to face Chinese Taipei in Heat 1 at 11:30 AM.

Tanvi Khanna has put India ahead against Iran after beating Narges Soltani 11-5 in the opening game. Soltani then picked up an injury in the second game while trailing 0-3, forcing her to retire from the match and handing Tanvi the win.

Both Dhiraj Bommadevara and Neeraj Chauhan have booked their places in the men’s recurve quarterfinals after impressive wins in the Round of 16. Dhiraj overcame Cheng Hsiang-Hui 6-2 and will face Uzbekistan’s Amirkon Sadikov next. Neeraj produced a superb performance against South Korea’s multiple Olympic medallist Kim Je Deok, edging a tight contest 6-4 after the match was locked at 4-4 heading into the final set. He will meet Bhutan’s Dorji Lam in the quarterfinals.

Neeraj Chauhan fought back brilliantly after falling 0-4 behind in the opening two sets, winning the next three sets in a row to seal his place in the men’s recurve Round of 16. He will now take on South Korea’s Kim Je Deok in the next round.

Athletics led the charge with six medals, with Murali Sreeshankar, Gulveer Singh and Yash Vir Singh winning silver, while Vithya Ramraj, Parul Chaudhary and Rohit Yadav secured bronze. Esha Singh added a silver in shooting, while Pincky Balhara clinched bronze in kurash.
