“I made a few errors in the beginning. (Balaji) has a good serve and an all-round game, so I had to wait for my chances,” said Sanam, who broke his opponent in the third and ninth games of the second set to take the match 7-5, 6-3,” said the rising star.

“My priority right now is to continue in the same vein and move up in the rankings, and then, hopefully, I’ll get a chance to represent India in the Davis Cup,” he said.
