Dr Sanjeev Saraf, at present working as Deputy Librarian in the Institute of Medical Sciences of the Banaras Hindu University, is a freak scholar. He spends hours reading books.
At a young age of 20, he had taken a vow to obtain masters Degree in 12 subjects. He has partly fulfilled the dream by doing MA in as many as eight subjects.
He is MA in Social Science, Library Science, Indian History, Philosophy, Public Administration, Journalism, Political Science and two other subjects.
Normally it takes 16 years to complete MA in eight subjects but just at the age of 34 he has accomplished the feat. Similarly, doing PhD in four subjects requires minimum 16 years but again he managed to finish it such short duration.
Saraf says he has often prepared for MA and PhD thesis simultaneously though had different subjects.
The man seems to be obsessed about fulfilling his dream. He drinks, eats and sleeps books!
