When Aditya Roy Kapur was flattered by love from the valley

Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapoor, was pleasantly surprised when was greeted by a number of female fans in Kashmit where he arrived to shoot for his next movie that also features Katrina Kaif and Rekha in pivotal roles.

Actor Aditya Roy Kapoor, who landed in Kashmir to shoot his next film, got pleasantly surprised. The actor who became quite popular as pop singer Rahul Jaykar in his 2013 hit, Aashiqui 2, was ­overwhelmed to see female fans turn up in big numbers when he reached Kashmr, as his film, co-starring actor Shraddha Kapoor, wasn’t even released in the Valley, says a source.

"When Aditya reached Kashmir, many girls came over to meet him. They told him that they were his fans and wanted autographs, ­selfies and pictures clicked with him. And Aditya was glad to see that he has quite a few fans even in that part of the country, where his film that made him a hit with girls, didn’t even release," says a source.

When we contacted the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actor, he ­sounded kicked. "It was a pleasant surprise for me to receive such a warm welcome and so much love from the people of Kashmir. Of course, it feels great. I’m truly flattered and humbled," said Aditya, who stars alongside actors Katrina Kaif and Rekha in his next film.

A source tells us that he is even learning to draw and sketch. "Although Kat plays an artist in the film, Aditya has also gotten into drawing and sketching. He’s taking keen interest in the skill and is often seen sketching the beautiful landscape of the valley," says the source from the sets.
