Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold brings a lighter, thinner design, brighter displays, more storage, faster charging and newer hardware over the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

Google has introduced the Pixel 11 Pro Fold as the successor to last year’s Pixel 10 Pro Fold, with changes across the display, design, battery, charging, storage, cameras, security and software. The new foldable also gets a lower weight and thinner body, while retaining the 8-inch inner display and 16GB RAM.

Pixel 11 Pro Fold gets a larger, brighter outer display

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold moves to a 6.5-inch Super Actua outer display, up from the 6.4-inch Actua panel on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Both displays support a 120Hz refresh rate, but the newer model raises peak brightness from 3,000 nits to 3,600 nits.

The 8-inch inner folding display remains the same size, with a 2076 x 2152 resolution and 1–120Hz refresh rate. However, its brightness also increases to up to 3,600 nits from 3,000 nits on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold uses an ultra-durable glass ceramic cover glass, replacing the Pixel 10 Pro Fold’s Gorilla Glass Victus 2 cover glass.

The new Fold is thinner and significantly lighter

One of the more visible specification changes is the body. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold measures 5.0mm when unfolded, compared with 5.2mm for its predecessor. When folded, it is 10.1mm thick, excluding the camera bump, versus 10.8mm on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

The weight has also dropped from 258g to 239g, making the new model 19g lighter. Both phones retain an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

Smaller battery, faster charging

Google has reduced the battery capacity on the Pixel 11 Pro Fold to 4,750mAh, compared with 5,015mAh on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Both are rated for 24+ hours of battery life.

The bigger change comes in charging. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold can charge up to 50% in about 30 minutes using a compatible 30W USB-C PPS charger. It also supports Qi2.2 wireless charging up to 25W, compared with Qi2 wireless charging up to 15W on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

More storage, new Tensor and security chip

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold comes with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, doubling the 256GB storage offered on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. It also moves from Tensor G5 to Tensor G6 and from the Titan M2 security coprocessor to Titan M3.

The newer phone also launches with Android 17, while the Pixel 10 Pro Fold launched with Android 16. Both models are promised seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates.

Camera hardware remains familiar, but zoom gets a boost

On paper, the core rear camera setup is largely unchanged. Both phones have a 48MP wide camera, 10.5MP ultrawide camera and 10.8MP 5x telephoto camera. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold, however, raises Super Zoom from 20x to 30x.

The new foldable also adds features such as Magic Capture and Camera Looks, while retaining features including Pro controls, Camera Coach, Add Me, Macro Focus, Night Sight and Rear Camera Selfie.

Pixel 11 Pro Fold vs Pixel 10 Pro Fold: What’s the difference?

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold brings several specification changes rather than completely altering Google's foldable formula. It is lighter and thinner, has brighter displays, twice the storage, a newer Tensor chip, a newer security chip, faster wireless charging and Android 17.

At the same time, the 8-inch inner display and triple rear camera setup remain broadly similar, while the battery capacity is actually lower. With a ₹14,000 higher launch price, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold's biggest specification changes are its lighter design, brighter screens, 512GB storage, charging capabilities and new-generation hardware.
