Imagine Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer and his biggest rival, the Spaniard Rafael Nadal, sashaying on the beautiful beaches clad in nothing but swimsuits? While Nadal has previously featured in underwear ads, Federer has no experience in this field. Nevertheless, this is exactly what Canadian tennis glam girl Eugenie Bouchard wants these two greats to do.
Bouchard, who has herself featured in a number of sizzling photoshoots, recently grabbed eyeballs again when she posed in a bikini for Sports Illustrated (SI) Swimsuit 2018 photoshoot in the Dutch Caribbean island of Aruba.
After her photoshoot, the 23-year-old spoke about the prospect of seeing Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer in swimsuits.
“Definitely Rafa [Nadal]. I would also have to say Roger [Federer]. Who wouldn’t want to see the two best tennis players of all time wearing next to nothing,” she told SI.com. This is the second consecutive year when Eugenie has done a photoshoot for the SI swimsuit magazine.
The tennis diva is a huge Federer fan and admitted to have cried after watching him lift the Australian Open 2018 title. Notably, Federer himself cried after winning his 20th Grand Slam last month.
“He was so close to making it through the speech without crying! I’m crying now too. I cannot comprehend this,” Eugenie had written in her Instagram post back then.
Bouchard has gone on to reveal that her father was cool with her SI photoshoot, something she was apprehensive about earlier.
“You know its [sic] a bit strange for a dad to see his daughter half clad in a magazine. But its [sic] done so tastefully. I’m proud of you. Well done,” her dad wrote after she shared pictures of her shoot with him.
She then went on to thank her dad in a Twitter post. “Sooo Dad approves ... thank god.”
