Risk of behavioral issues in kids increases due to traumatic brain injury: Study

The risk was the highest in children around ten years old. Researchers found that children who had a significant hit to the head but did not meet diagnostic criteria for a mild TBI also had an increased risk of these behavioural and emotional problems.

Ageing neutralises sex differences in the brain: Study

The study demonstrates that a gene's expression is reduced in older females and increased in old males if the gene's expression is higher in the brains of young females than in young males, and vice versa for genes with higher expression in young males.
