Now, foreigners can register marriages in Delhi under Special Act

The ruling comes on a plea by a couple seeking registration of their marriage under the Act. While the woman is Hindu and a Canadian citizen, the man is a Christian from the US.

Delhi HC to hear bail pleas by Sharjeel Imam on January 30

As per the prosecution, Imam allegedly made speeches at Jamia Millia Islamia on December 13, 2019 and at the Aligarh Muslim University on December 16, 2019, where he threatened to cut off Assam and other states in the Northeast from the rest of India.

Unnao rape case: Delhi HC grants interim bail to Kuldeep Sengar

A bench of Justices Mukta Gupta and Poonam A Bamba suspended the sentence from January 27 to February 10 and asked Sengar to furnish two sureties of ₹1 lakh each and report to the SHO concerned on a daily basis during this period.
