LSG coach Jonty Rhodes helps groundsmen to cover the pitch as rains forced Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings to each take a point from their match in Lucknow that ended with four balls remaining in the first innings.
A belligerent Lucknow Super Giants, led by half centuries from Kyle Mayers and Marcus Stoinis, smashed 257/5 in 20 overs, which is the second highest score in the history of the tournament. It was also just six runs off the highest ever score that was set by Royal Challengers Bangalore a decade ago.
