Situated north of the Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP), Tungareshwar Wildlife Sanctuary forms a corridor for animals between SGNP and the Tansa Wildlife Sanctuary. This trail is lined with dense mixed deciduous forests. During this season, one can see birds like Rufous Treepie, White Wagtail, Ashy Drongo, Yellow-Eyed Babbler, Crested Serpent Eagle, Brown-Headed Barbet, Shikra, Verditer Flycatcher and many more.
