There's seems to be no stopping the growth of the southern Chinese city of Macau, which has over the past decade firmly established itself as the center of the gaming world.
City of Dreams: Situated on Macau's Cotai Strip district, this complex includes the Crown and Hard Rock casinos, with around 500 tables and 1,500 slot machines. There are three hotels too (including the Grand Hyatt Macau), more than 20 restaurants and bars and nightly shows.
Grand Lisboa:The sparkling jewel of Dr Stanley Ho's SJM corporation takes pride of place in the center of town (right opposite the grand old Casino Lisboa), with 268 tables, and 786 slots over three floor as well as a variety of nightclubs.
Galaxy Macau: More than 600 gaming tables, 1,200 slots and three hotels - the Galaxy, Hotel Okura and a Banyan Tree. There's also a massive cinema complex and a root top wave pool.
Venetian Macau: More than 3,000 suites, 1.6 million square feet of retail space, a huge concert hall. But the gaming floor takes your breath away - 870 tables, 3,400 slots spread over 546,000 square feet.
