According to the annual Traffic Scorecard compiled by traffic and navigation service provider INRIX , traffic congestion in Europe dropped by 18 percent last year compared to 2011, and continues to go down, with an additional 23 percent dip in the first quarter, News.com.au reported.
However, traffic jams in the US are going up, having increased by 6.4 percent over the first quarter of 2013 following two straight years of decline.
