“Totally unacceptable and barbaric behaviour by some idiotic onlookers.Just because Elephants are gentle, they are being magnanimous to these uncouth minions otherwise it does not take much for these gentle giants to show their power. Video-shared: Believed to be in Hasanur, Karnataka,” she tweeted while sharing the video.

The clip opens to show a few cars lined up one after another. One of the cars is seen trying to pass the elephants instead of stopping and letting the gentle giants pass. Agitated, the jumbos charge toward the car and the driver quickly backs up the car. Thankfully, the elephants then cross the road.

Take a look at the video:

The video was posted a day ago and since being shared, the clip has accumulated more than 20,000 views. The share has also prompted people to post various comments. There were some who condemned the behaviour of the driver, others were trying to understand what the person did wrong.

“What's barbaric here???” wrote a Twitter user. “What was the need of car to go so close to elephants… he should have stopped and let elephants pass peacefully . That's it bro,” answered another. “People should be more considerate to all living beings on plane,” commented an individual. “We all have to educated or re-educated how to behave in such occasions, simply those people provoked the animals, so who are the animals?” commented another.
