A video showing MS Dhoni looking at a miniature model of Tamil Nadu’s Chepauk Stadium with amazement has wowed people. The clip shows an intricately designed miniature version of the stadium. It was gifted to the cricketer by his fan Japtej Ahluwalia.
Ahluwalia shared a video of him giving the amazing gift to Dhoni on Instagram. The video also captures the cricketer saying, “Very nicely done,” upon seeing the gift and thanking Ahluwalia. While sharing the video, Ahluwalia also posted a detailed caption expressing what motivated him to come up with such an incredible gift.
“From a Super Singh to a Super King. Met this exceptional man for the first time in 2009 and when someone starts radiating their aura, you know that you are in the company of someone special. That is who THALA MS DHONI IS . Got the opportunity to meet him several times over the years due to my workplace and my travels to watch CSK matches. Fast forward 2023 and we know what this man has achieved over the years. He does have to prove himself to anyone but he still has the drive and motivation to bear the pain and play for CSK, for the fans, for all of us,” he wrote.
“Not knowing whether we will see him play again or not post this season, I was on a quest to think of a gift to give him. I mean what is it that this man does not have or cannot buy. So it had to be something that connects with him (sic) at a personal level. My thoughts took me to a place where I have had some of my happiest memories,” he added. In his post, he also tagged and thanked a few people who helped him turn his dream into reality.
“A 1:300 exact scale model of Chepauk with personal touches like a stand named after him with camouflaged colour seats for his love of the army. Sakshi and Ziva cheering him on tiny little screens placed at the exact same locations where the screens in Chepauk are. A 3 min video capturing his journey over the years playing on a small screen in the background and many small touches that made this one special” he explained and concluded his post.
