A check on the Bigg Boss House

Season Five of the Colors reality show, Bigg Boss kicks off tonight. Before contestants explore the 9,000 sq feet House in Karjat, built on an area 1,500 sq feet more than the previous houses, star hosts Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan have checked out its nooks and crannies. It’s designed in a way to ensure there’s no room for privacy.

The house has a living area, two bedrooms, a captain’s room with an attached bathroom, and two separate bathrooms and lavatories for the rest in the garden area. The kitchen is in the centre of the house, but the sink has been relocated to the garden area to encourage catfights. Also, there’s a dome-shaped chit-chat zone for the captain, and entry is by invitation only. There’s a swimming pool and a tiny gym, which should ideally be used only in daylight. In the evenings, they’ll belong to fireflies and insects. The confession room is rather secretively placed behind a mirror.
