Sushant Singh Rajput, Manav of the Zee daily Pavitra Rishta, sho for a special episode of Dance India Dance, over the weekend. He was paired with Shakti Mohan, one of the contestants from Terrence Ki Toli. Choreographer Terrence Lewis mentored them in their dancing styles — rumba and samba.

Rajput and Mohan’s performance didn’t quite excite the judges, Geeta Kapoor and Remo, and grandmaster Mithun Chakraborty. Everyone thought that Rajput was being too aggressive for the dance form when he didn’t need to be.

However because he is a trained dancer, he couldn’t understand why his performance was under the scanner. Eventually, the act won the best performance of the day prize.
