“I am dying to shoot for the wedding... It’s going to be something that the viewers have never seen before. Dutta is going to marry Nakusha at gunpoint with an intention to torture her,” Raheja informs.

He’s not keen to get into a relationship in real life though. “I had a girlfriend in the past but it’s been five years since we broke up. It’s time for me to work and make the most of my time as an actor.”

Raheja may have agreed to wed an ugly Betty on screen, but in real life, he has his checklist in place. “Looks matter to me. My lady love has to be pretty, but it’s not like I’ll only settle for a Kareena (Kapoor) or a Katrina (Kaif) lookalike. She has to be a good human being too.”

Raheja was the second choice to play Dutta Bhau’s role. It had initially been offered to Rohit Bakshi who shot to fame with Kahin To Hoga years ago. “Whose loss is it — mine or his? The role had to come to me and it did,” says Raheja. The actor adds that he had to undergo preparation. “I read books and watched films based on gangsters. Al Pacino, Amitabh Bachchan and Bruce Willis are my inspiration,” he says.

Ask him what is he like in real life and Raheja says, “I’m talkative and jovial, unlike my screen persona Dutta. It takes me 15 minutes to calm myself down and get into the role.”
