After inspiring Chak De India!, former hockey player and coach Mir Ranjan Negi will now act in the TV show Palampur Express.

Negi says, “I will play a role not too different from what I am in real life. I play a sports coach who spots talent in the lead girl of the show, Akangsha Rawat who plays Pavni.”

Although Negi hasn’t watched any episodes of Palampur Express, he asks, “Isn’t acting all about spontaneity? So I guess it won’t be difficult. I only hope people haven’t forgotten my face.”
