Archie will be coming to the small screen as FOX has picked up the TV series rights to Archie Comics, developing it as a one-hour drama titled Riverdale. The live-action series is written by former Glee scribe Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.

The live-action series is written by former Glee scribe Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and produced by Greg Berlanti, reported Ace Showbiz.

"This is a historic moment for Archie Comics, and we couldn't be happier to partner with Fox, Warner Bros and Greg Berlanti to bring our characters to television," said Archie Comics publisher/co-CEO Jon Goldwater.
