. But F 2 racecar driver Armaan Ebrahim didn’t frown. He even participated in the wild card round, and when he didn’t make it, he flew off to London and then to Germany to participate in a race tournament.

“It was my first brush with TV and I enjoyed it. It doesn’t matter how long or short it was. I’m over a lot of my fears now and that’s what matters,” says Ebrahim, who has found new friends in co-contestants Shabbir Ahluwalia and Karan Singh Grover. “All of us would often hang around together. I’m sure there were many girls gazing at us, thinking what’s this pack of 13 all about.”

Was he disappointed, given that Milind Soman, who chickened out during the first stunt of the show, re-entered as the wild card contestant. “I tried my best all along. It doesn’t matter, whether he made it or someone else did. It’s a game, as unpredictable as the race tracks,” Ebrahim points.

Actor Rahul Bose, his co-contestant, plans to start his next film as a director with newcomers in pivotal roles. Was he offered a role too? “No,” he giggles. “No one offered me any film or TV show roles. Actually, they were more interested in my racecar. They didn’t know much when they met me, but now, I’m sure they know a lot more.”

What did his family think of his TV stint? “They are glued to the small screen in England all the time and they like this show too. I haven’t seen it after it was shot because I have been busy with my races. I’m planning the next year’s schedule too,” says Ebrahim.

And would he be open for another TV show? “No way,” he smiles. “I didn’t have a competition coming up when this show came by. It won’t be the same always, right?”
