It’s a dream come true for me,” says Aditya Singhal, who has won talent reality show, India’s Best Dramebaaz.
Talking about his victory, Singhal says, “The show has given me so much. It has been the best experience of my life. I’ll definitely miss the stage and the performances.”
The 13 -year-old, who hails from Pune, wants to be like Shah Rukh Khan once he grows up. “Mujhe bade hokar Shah Rukh Khan jaisa banna hai (I want to be like Shah Rukh Khan when I grow up),” he says.
In seventh standard at present, Singhal is all praises for the shows judges — filmmaker Anurag Basu and actors Vivek Oberoi and Sonali Bendre. “I will miss Anurag da, Sonali didi, and Vivek Bhaiyya as they made me learn a lot about acting,” he says.
Ask Singhal how his interest in acting began and he says, “I used to mimic my parents and crack jokes that I had heard from others.” He adds, “I’ll catch up with my studies, keep looking for acting opportunities and audition for interesting roles. I will continue taking acting classes too.”
