You’ve come all the way from Varanasi for the show Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega?
Yes. I’ve had a crush on Rahul since I was 14. I run an NGO in Varanasi and I’m also a BJP member and that I thought would help us connect.

What was your first reaction on being eliminated?
I was completely taken aback by Rahul’s decision. More than the fact that I was leaving the show, it was the thought of parting with Rahul that was killing me.

What do you think led to your elimination from the show?
First, I didn’t get much time to spend with Rahul. Second, I was too honest and not diplomatic like others girls on the show. I said what I felt and that made the girls insecure. Rahul too was more comfortable with others like Dimpy Ganguly.

Are any girls on the show not serious about marrying Rahul?
Swati Augustin, the BPO employee from Delhi, is fake. She is just trying to gain publicity and tries to portray herself as a Bihari to gain sympathy from Rahul. I can’t say about others, but I know that I was 110 per cent serious about marriage.

Has your elimination from the show made you bitter?
Not at all. I am a very optimistic person and I respect Rahul. I want to see him happy. I know he is serious about getting settled in life through the show and I wish him luck. I will be there for him any time he needs me.

Any message for Rahul?
He should keep his eyes and ears open and then take the biggest decision of his life.
