The I Know What You Did Last Summer star will be playing the part of a mother forced to turn to prostitution to pay her bills for the 2010 Lifetime network film and it’s now set to be extended for a weekly show.

Since the 32-year-old actress will begin filming the programme from January, she has decided to avoid over-indulging during the holidays so that she’ll be in tip-top shape for her sexy scenes.

“I will be in lingerie a lot, so I’ll be working out. I will not be eating for the holidays,” Contactmusic quoted her as telling People.com.

Hewitt starred last in a regular TV series in 2010 when The Ghost Whisperer was cancelled after five seasons.
