According to sources from the production house, the reason behind this is stress.

According to a report in The Indian Express, Shah Rukh was on the sets of the show with his co-star from the film, Anushka Sharma, but Kapil did not arrive on the sets

India.com also reported that the actors had to leave as Kapil was under stress and couldn’t shoot.

“Kapil had to shoot with actor Shah Rukh Khan for Jab Harry Met Sejal on Friday night but he fainted on the sets during the shoot. He is under a lot of stress because of the show and is doing everything possible to keep it on top of the TRP. This stress took a toll on him and the shoot had to get cancelled,” says a source.

Ever since actor-comedian Sunil Grover walked out of the show, there are reports of the show’s popularity getting affected and channel’s TRP dropping.

“Even when the cast of Guest Iin London had come to promote the film, Kapil was unwell and the shoot had to be stopped. He has been thinking a lot lately about the show and it has started affecting his health. Now, with comedian Krushna Abhishek’s new show on the same channel, things have become tougher for Kapil,” the source adds.

Kapil Sharma and his team remained unavailable to comment.

Things took a turn for worse in March when Kapil and Sunil had a fight during a flight to India from Australia. Post that, Kapil had apologised to Sunil on social media but didn’t get any response.
