Karan Johar dispels rumours about potential guests on Koffee With Karan
Karan Johar took to Twitter to tell followers that his team is yet to decide on the guest list for Koffee With Karan or the celebs to appear on opening episode.
Karan Johar’s celebrity chat show Koffee with Karan did not only make rapid fire rounds popular but is also known for celebrities confessing things that they otherwise never would. So, it is quite natural for fans to get excited about the show, enough to start speculating about what is to come in the next season.
However, you should give a halt to your train of rumours because Karan is here to dispel a few. Karan took to Twitter on Wednesday and wrote, “CLARIFICATION ALERT!!!! All “conjecture” surrounding the opening episode of #KoffeeWithKaran is UNTRUE! The team and I are yet to decide the pairings of the show!!! Please do wait for official information before speculation! Love and Koffee to all of you!!!!”
A recent report in DNA quoted a source as saying, “Initially, they were thinking of opening the episode with Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, but now it will most likely be Janhvi-Ishaan. Virat and Anushka will be making an appearance on the show, but in a later episode.”
Another DNA report suggested that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be appearing on the show together. A source was quoted as saying, “RK has requested Karan to make it a Brahmastra special episode where both he and Alia will mostly talk about the film and their onscreen pairing rather than discuss their love life. He doesn’t want that to grab any more headlines.”
The other names that made it to the speculative list were Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. The show is set to premiere on October 21 and will be broadcast on Star World, Sundays at 9 pm.
