She is anxious about the Comedy Circus finale that is yet to be shot. Kamya Punjabi will have to battle it out with Juhi Parmar. After having fought her way through 19 episodes, Kamya wants to win and how. The coming weeks will see the ouster of contestants Sucheta Khanna and Krushna Abhishek.

Confusion initially

Kamya reveals that she was initially sceptical about taking up the comic reality show, given her hardcore negative image thanks to Sindoora - her character in Banoo Main Teri Dulhann.

Now known as both Sindoora and Kamya, she says. The actress doesn't have a problem with below-the-belt jokes in her stand-up acts because clean humour gets boring after a point. Kamya adds that she is very careful not to appear cheap or vulgar.

At least Comedy Circus isn't like other reality shows in which contestants humiliate themselves, she states. The on-screen vamp doesnt have an issue with the in-house vote-out format, by which safe jodis pick and dumpone of the couples in the danger zone.

As for the allegation that some actors on the show throw starry attitude, Kamya agrees but refuses to name them. She says her chemistry and comic timing with her partner Rajiv Thakur clicks well, which explains their success.

Rajiv apparently comes on the sets of Dulhann to rehearse with her. About speculation that she will soon be bumped off in the Zee daily soap, Kamya refuses to comment. The only explanation she offers is that there will be a major twist. "I don't mind taking on a positive role when Dulhann wraps up," she ends.
