To cash in on its success, the makers now apparently plan to launch DVDs of the show. This would be the first time that a show, currently on air, would be available in the DVD format. Meanwhile, in the interim period before Parvati enters, actor Mouni Roy, who plays Sati in the show, will be seen in flashback scenes for about a month. The channel is looking for the right face for Parvati’s role.

Lover boy Jay Bhanushali, currently seen in Colors’ Kairi, has always cashed on his cute lover boy image, whether it was his first show Kayamath or reality shows Jhalak Dikhla Ja and Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao or hosting Dance India Dance. Ask Jay about it and he smiles, “There are very few serials which have strong male roles as most of them are about guys being in love. As I prefer doing positive roles, my lover boy image is destined. A role like Saif Ali Khan’s in Omkara is on my wishlist though.”
