Manveer Gurjar: Never kissed Nitibha Kaul at Bigg Boss 10 success party

Manveer Gurjar, who became an overnight star after winning Bigg Boss 10, has been rumoured to be dating co-contestant Nitibha Kaul, but Manveer says the reports are false.

Bigg Boss 10 winner Manveer Gurjar has been in news even after the show ended in January — mostly for his rumoured relationship with co-contestant Nitibha Kaul. In March, there was a picture that went viral from the Bigg Boss success party, where it seemed that the two were kissing. However, in an interview with us, Manveer finally gives his side of the story. “There were so many things which were said about that party. All I want to say is that I come from a respectable family. Kiss karne ke liye bahut rooms hai and I won’t do it like this (in the open). It was very loud there and I was just trying to say something to her,” says Manveer.

Manveer says that contrary to rumours, he’s not dating Nitibha.

He says that there was a point when the relationship rumours started bothering him. “I was even scared to meet her in public initially. But now, I don’t care. We meet and hang out. But there is no girlfriend-boyfriend scene,” says Manveer, adding, “I am not dating her. Andar bhi aisa kuch nai tha and ab bhi nai hai.”

Manveer reveals that the buzz was so strong that the two were even approached for dance-reality show Nach Baliye. “Nitibha came out of Bigg Boss earlier than me and she was approached for Nach Baliye. There was nothing going on, but they (the makers) also believed the rumours like everyone else. But then I was approached for Khatron Ke Khiladi and I wanted to be part of that,” says Manveer.

Not just Nitibha, Manveer was also rumoured to be dating co-contestant Akanksha Sharma, who was married to Yuvraj Singh’s brother Zorawar. When the reports came, she said that she would rather date a frog than Manveer. “Woh toh psycho hai. Pata Nai usne raat ko kya khaya tha that she said this. I told Yuvraj also about this and he laughed about it,” says Manveer.

Talking about Khatron Ke Khiladi, Manveer says he is looking forward to the show. “Nothing can be tougher than Bigg Boss. There is politics, diplomacy and tasks there. Thankfully there are only stunts here. I want to do well in the show,” he says.
