Former Nach Baliye contestant Daljeet Kaur just gave us a glimpse of the mettle she’s made of. The TV actor, who went through a messy divorce with actor Shaleen Bhanot, shared a comforting and sweet message on Instagram on Friday for him. She wished him on their wedding anniversary and also said that she will live the day for ‘the last time today’ as they will be declared divorced in two months.
A journey began 7 years back. Today it will live for the last time before we get declared divorced in two months time.... lots happened...lots was said...lots was felt....and lots was lived..... but one thing i know by the end of this journey is that i got Jaydon who is my life...my reason to live....if i hadnt walked through this route of destiny...i wouldnt have had Jaydon in my arms. I think god has bigger plans and we all dont see it until we live it. So as i live my marriage anniversary for the last time....today i want to wish shaleen a good life. May u have a good, happy and successful life and may u find ur peace too....
Daljeet said that though a lot was said and felt in the seven years of her marriage, it even gave her their son, Jaydon. She wished Shaleen happiness, success and peace in his life.
Shaleen and Daljeet appeared together in Nach Baliye, 2008 and also ended up winning the reality show. However, the couple didn’t share a happily ever after and filed for divorce in 2015 when Daljeet alleged domestic abuse at the hands of her husband.
In July this year, Daljeet had said that she regretted not talking about her abuse earlier. “I know I was speaking truth, but I still took a lot of time expressing the pain. It was the most difficult phase of my life. I feel every experience good or bad teaches you something. I have learnt a lot from my bad experiences. However, I am happy that I met some really good people during the phase. They not only helped me, but also guided me. I am thankful to them, they never let me be alone,” she had said. She even completely dismissed the possibility of reconciling with Shaleen.
