Photographs of Priyanka with the two Emmy winners were being circulated online shortly after the awards. Riz Ahmed, the British star of Pakistani origin, won Best Actor in a Limited Series or TV Movie for his lead role in HBO’s The Night Of, which is available to stream on Hotstar. He became the first Asian actor to win the award. Aziz Ansari, who won for writing in a comedy series for his Netflix show, Master of None, is of Indian origin, something he revisits in the show.

Priyanka’s TV show, Quantico, is ready to premiere its third season. The actor is also scheduled to appear in two new Hollywood films, Isn’t it Romantic?, starring Adam DeVine, Rebel Wilson and Liam Hemsworth, and A Kid Like Jake, which stars Jim Parsons, Claire Danes and Octavia Spencer.
