Initiated by POGO, nominations for the awards were invited from parents and principals of the schools of meritorious kids, as well as self-nominations from children who felt they deserved the award in a particular category from a list that includes music, singing, sports, academics, entertainment, art and dancing.

Tanay Chedda (14) was awarded in the Entertainer category for his role in

. Chedda is also known for his performances in

Another youngster, Dishaddra Poddar (13) got an award in the Artist category. Poddar has won over 160 awards in national and State level competitions, while Shraddha Nagaraj (14) won an award in the Dancer category. Other winners include Vishnu Ramprasad, S. Mahadevan, Priyanshi Somani, Swapnali Yadav and Shraddha Nagaraj.
