If some people think it’s easy for a woman to portray a man’s character they need to think again. Ragini Khanna aka Bharti of Bhaskar Bharti too confesses the same. The actress who plays a man in Bhaskar Bharti talks of the challenges she faces.

“When I got to know what my character was going to be, I was taken aback because being a woman it’s very difficult to portray a man’s character. And if you fail to present it well then the show will look awkward. But I took up the challenge and decided to move ahead. I used to sit for hours when Eijaz used to shoot, just to observe his body language. And I think now I know the real Bhaskar. Now I feel that I am a man.”

Recalling some weird incidents Ragini said, “Oh! There are a many unusual incidents that I had to face during the shoot. I remember that the very first day of my shoot, I had to propose to the same girl who cursed Bhaskar. So I went down on my knees and proposed marriage to her. I had never done this even to a guy but I had to do that and it was so weird for me. Also there was a scene where I had to shoot in a men’s toilet and I cannot tell you how badly it was stinking. I don’t know what I am going to face further.”
