Popular television show Gangaa is set for its second time leap, in line with what has now become a predictable trend in serials.

Gangaa, a show about a child widow and her fight against the society for dignity, had its first time leap when they showed the lead character - Gangaa - as a grown-up woman. This time around, Gangaa gives birth to a daughter.
Ruhana Khanna, who portrayed Gangaa’s childhood on the small screen, will be back with the time leap as the character’s daughter. She will make a grand entry on Janmashtami.

Ruhana’s earlier stint ended when Aditi Sharma stepped in to play the grown-up Gangaa.
Speaking about her comeback on the show, little Ruhana said, “I can’t express my happiness. It’s a homecoming of sorts for me. The only change is that instead of being called Gangaa, I will now be called Krishna. The show is very close to my heart. I missed everyone on the set and it will be fun to shoot with them again.”
